Well the RT is back home safely after being in bed for more than 7 months. Bit of mold here and there, rear tyre pressure bit low but rideable and generally looks like a bag of shit.
AND, did i ever mention, that gearbox is absolutely atrocious. BMW should be ashamed. I am going to see if a Massey Ferguson box will fit.

Re: Homecoming
You know what Brig this RT means nowt to me. I now feel it's a heap of shit. However, cause i know my biking day's are limited i will keep it. When it goes i wont shed a tear. My biking is now short stuff so i want a bike that fits my wont.

Ed is really happy with the V-Strom.
Now it’s been lowered he says it’s 100% right.

Re: Homecoming
WHANT, what on earth is going on.
Anyway got round to giving the bike a good clean this am. The winter has not been kind to it. I see small signs the alloy in parts are just starting to tarnish and a few other age related wears and tears. Taking it for it's first MOT tomorrow.
Nice run today around Delamere forrest and lake and area. Some really nice roads n stuff around here.
NC, 1000 miles, that will take me about 15 months. Maybe a bit less on a decent bike.

Re: Homecoming
Did you put ACF 50 on for the winter? Just wondering as I swear by it and wondered if it really makes as much difference as I think it does.

Re: Homecoming
Bee, no i didn't this/last year. Absolutely no reason why i failed to do it. It is only after NOT treating it to ACF50 that you realise just how good it is for winter protection. I will be doing it this year.
