Wonderful scenery. John always planned to go back but we never did get round to it. Was the café as good as I remember it Bob? It looks much smarter now, but it's the food that counts :)

I had a bacon n egg on brown, spot on. 2 teas. Sated.
Nice place BUT, wooden chairs legs on tiles......noise, noise goes through me............i sat outside.
Rode past it twice as my sat nav is kerd. Over the years i must have rode/drove past that place dozens of times.
The ride today generally was great............even the rain. Wish i had had my new tyre/s on as psychologically i was thinking teflon.

A track day at Spa sounds like fun.

Worn tyres are fine in wet as long as there is not too much standing water. I will newer worn tyres over older age-hardened tyres with a lot of tread in the wet.

There is always the option of letting some air out. People were wondering how I was going so fast in 50°F (10°F) rain at Blackhawk Farms on the G650 Xmoto - had the tyres inflated to 20/16 psi (1.4/1.1 bar) front/rear.

Speaking of tyre pressures. My BM has always run 2.1b Front 2.4b rear.
When it came out of service last week they are at 2.5b Front 2.9b rear.
Not checked the book or questioned them. When i take the new tyres down to be fitted i will ask................i could just check the book, and i might just.

I would not go so radically low on a RT without working down to it, and really only recommend running low pressures if traction is iffy in the rain, then bringing pressure back up once it dries out.
