Family member need a hire car. Needs to be large, as it has to take 6 suitcases + hand luggage to Heathrow. It also needs isofix, for the baby's car seat.
Large 6 seater van arrives. Great for the luggage, but no isofix. Will have to leave the baby behind (or not).
Ring company - we can't speak to you, you didn't order it.
Finally someone agrees to deliver another vehicle.
A Zafira arrives.
Does have isofix, but not big enough for all the luggage.
Ring company - it's ok - you can have both vehicles. One for the children and one for the luggage.
Is the wife insured to drive then? (It's a special booking)
No.
So we have two vehicles, but only insurance for one driver?
Strangely, no one is now returning phone calls, and they all appear to have left for lunch/the bank holiday...
