Was going to add it to NCs Lakes post but thought better of it.
So, Blasted up to Loch Lomand yesterday. The last 25/30 miles was really bad rain but in a sort of perverse way i enjoyed it.
Then came down to Ayr. The road from Ayr to Dumfries is superb riding. Then around and down to Maryport. Then accros to the M6 for the blast down. Some heavy showers but didn't spoil it too much.
All in all a good wee run.
It was cold and wet at this time.
My Flop for the night
What's so Bonny Bonny about this place in the pissing rain.

Rain is only fun when it brings lightning and tornadoes to chase on the bike.

Re: Scotland
Your overnight accommodation looks much better then my tent. I've treated myself to a slightly bigger one this year. it's very posh. I have a porch big enough to sit on my chair in. Luxury!

That was last years model which I now use for when I go to be pit crew. I thought I deserved something better as I seem to be doing a lot of camping this year. I didn't know what to do with all the extra space !Ninjachica wrote: ↑Sat Jul 20, 2019 11:34 pm Chair?!
