Wrong type of bike challenge.

Post by CantCorner »

I know I'm odd and a few of you can vouch for it , but New Year and new crazy ideas to get fit .
So , I've just paid up to enter this charity event - http://www.carten100.co.uk/
Even bought bike lights as I'm guessing it will be dark by the time I finish . :-p

P.S. Do not / will not /have never owned / or worn Lycra , but any other abuse welcome .
It wasn't my fault , I was left unsupervised !

A bicycle? I am impressed. I can't work the things. I need an engine to make things stay upright. Those pedally things are much to wobbly to be safe :-o

100 miles should take about 6 to 7 hours on a push bike.

The other half is planning on doing the stadium tour of the northeast it was not expected to be that popular however there's now 500 interested riders a fraction have actually signed up, it's 75miles expected to take 4-4.5 hours, got to sign up with your average speed, starts Darlington fc old football ground
Middlesbrough fc, on to hartlepool fc, Sunderland afc, then ending at Newcastle fc charity event still in the process of getting underway, one bloke trying to organise it
Apparently got that much interest he's had to hire up some help, still getting sponsors etc. It's for the great North East Air ambulance..

I'm allowed to drive up and collect him, how nice..
