What was it

Post by bobsnicholson »

Had to ask my neighbour what that big bright shiny thing was in the sky today. He said "The Sun", he goes to church so he must be telling the truth.

Sunny for most of the day here, too, although of course it had to rain a bit early in the morning. It wouldn't do to have a whole, dry day.
Tomorrow I'm taking the ER5 out for a play date with another ER5, so I can be sure it will rain properly, at least until after lunch. I'm having trouble remembering when I last rode on a dry day.

Still haven't seen that mythical thing in the sky over here yet . If it isn't horizontal rain then we have low cloud and drizzle . :'-(

had a couple of hours on the RT yesterday afternoon. Weather was superb, temperature machine was showing 19c (remember we are in Cheshire :-p )

It has been well recorded about how crap the RTs gearbox is, well, the suspension is worserer and ever badder.

Bob , Do you know much about the BMW K1600 GT range , as I've seen one for sale which looks like the dogs bollocks of a bike for touring but don't know any owners to rate them .

It was a toss up when i bought the RT if i should get "The big K". I don't know enough about them. I went for the RT only because it was physically smaller than the K1600.
Personally i think they are a great bike.
