I was thinking, would i rather be on my bike cruising the lanes around Cheshire, or sat there at the Golf Club, TBH right now give me Cheshire and bike.............only 10 more sleeps and i will be home.
Work is for people that can't play golf.

No offence Bob , but at the moment you don't want to rush back to ride bikes . When you posted the above pic there was horizontal rain and 30mph winds lashing the west coast . Beer in the sun looked good . 8-)

Ah but, no but, it's all going to clear up from the 14th and a spring like wot we had last year is going to start, that's why i want to be back...............plus the fact i am fed up of paying Β£11 a pint :'-(

Β£11 a pint is cheaper that what I paid in Covent Garden the other week . Good job it was on expenses . :shock:

Drinks seem to cost a lot in London. I had an alcohol free cocktail at the top of the Shard a couple of years ago. Β£36!!!!!! I was glad I wasn't paying. It was nice and the view was quite something, but it was really expensive. I pretended I wasn't hungry as I can't imagine what a snack at the bar might have cost.
