Bus

Post by bobsnicholson »

I have a bit of time on my hands before i go to the pub so thought i would share this.

About 12 years ago i bought a 14 seat Toyota Hi-Ace bus for one my company's ABN Scaffolding.
When i sold up to retire i gifted the bus to my son for his company use.
I was at the office (son's) today and the bus was there with it's driver Koyamu (he has worked for the family for 25+ years). Koya has been it's only driver during and after it left me.
The bus now has 868,455 Ks on it. Same engine, gearbox (obviously not made by BMW) and clutch. It has never had any serious mechanical issues. I took it for a spin and it still drives absolutely fine (a bit smelly though).
Moral, one good driver, regular service and a vehicle will serve you well.

There, bet you are all happy to know that
