Double check

Post by bobsnicholson »

Looked out of the window this morning to see a good deep frost and an autumn mist over the river.
Love this time of year, the tree leaves are turning all colours and started falling.
Got one run planned on the bike on a dry day during the week then i think it's hibernation for it till April.
Ah well, it was a great spring and summer, never done so many miles, loved every miles (well there were a few around the Loomies time that were not so good :emb: )

It was a good summer for being out on a bike. Don't forget to use the ACF50. Still good, even if the bike's staying under cover for the winter. I meant to give mine a really good wash and do it's winter protection today, but I got side tracked and never even opened the shed door in the end. Maybe I'll fit it in before my ride out for a cafรฉ lunch tomorrow.

Still hoping to get the odd hour out here and there on a sunny weekend.

In the meantime, planning to go on a jet ski this week, as an alternative ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜„

Jet ski! That's very brave. I've often wondered if it might be fun.

It's usually dry enough to ride most of the winter, here in the South. I'm considering buying myself a heated vest as I'm getting so feeble nowadays. I'm thinking I should do the Kawasaki with ACF50 as well and maybe use that for most of the winter riding. Too much choice!

Had a jet ski many years ago when the kids were younger. Great fun. A Yamaha Waverunner. It got nicked when we had to leave it when we got a puncture on the trailer tyre. We had to go get a new wheel/tyre, came back
an hour later and it was gone. Police said, and i quote, "probably kids having fun".

The amount of ice cream vans/shops/stalls/outlets Shirl and i have asked if they have sugar free is countless, ALL said no, feel like some are missing a trick here.

Not been jet skiing yet. Used to ride jet bikes years ago, so this will be peasy.

Did go snorkelling yesterday, and swam with turtles.
Will find time to upload to YouTube and link to here.

Oman is lovely ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜

If you get near The Intercontinental Hotel there is a great English pub in there, forget the name but had a session or 9 in there.
