Post by bobsnicholson »

So next weekend booked a couple of nights in Falkirk. Next door is Bo'ness where there is a Classic and Vintage Car, Bike hill climb and show that i will have a look at. ALSO what i didn't know and will also have a look at are those big horses heads statue thing are nearby, think they call them The Kelpies???? AND also nearby is that fancy boat lift lift that will also get a coat of looking at.................shame, yet again going in comfort, not bike.

This is our local hill climb (not been used for several years now).

My route back from Scotland was too direct to tale much in. Would have liked to see those Kelpies - plus loads of other stuff.

Will have to have a week up there at some point, without any fixed agenda.

Piglet, do you go straight up that, or do they make a bendy route to the top? It looks quite steep :D

Bee, quite right. I think it's more rider than bike. There are parts that can be quite daunting, very very steep both up and down with the wickedest (is that a word?) switchback.
I think my years trial riding came to the fore.
BUT, do it and you have a great sense of achievement.
