Get up this morning.
Stick all the dark clothes in the washing machine. Kevlar leggings, thermals, vests etc.
Wheel bike out and spray it with muc-off
Come in and get bucket of warm water
It's started raining.
Wash bike in fine drizzle. Top up oil, WD a few bits.
Try to dry bike off, but rain is no longer drizzle, but real rain.
Push bike in garage, and dry off.
Go back in house and get washing out.
Streeeeeetch leggings so they will fit!
Take washing upstairs to hang in airing cupbard - and spot soggy socks and buff still in the bath from yesterday!

August in England
If it ain't fun, don't do it
Re: August in England
Every one thinks washing's an easy job but there's always something waiting to surprise you. I have somehow lost my favourite T shirt in the wash. I have no idea where it could have gone and worst of all I have no one else to blame. Why, out of the many T shirts I own, did it have to be my favourite?
Re: August in England
@Beelady - Now you have the excuse to get the purple Triumph T-shirt.

Good point. I will look into it. I have many Triumph shirts but none in purple. I should have one.

I really thought I'd be buying myself a new T shirt, but they don't have any in my size. I was looking forward to that
