Service

Post by bobsnicholson »

Cannot remember when i bought this new bike.
Anyway it's got 570 miles on now so it's going in for it's first service.
Typical innit, been lovely for the last week or more, albet but cold..................today, the day i'm taking the bike 20 miles each way it's pissing down...........but at least the rain is a little warmer.

Found a button (well told about it) that has transformed the bike. I think i mentioned that the bike was going up the gears to quickly and i was having to hit the shift down button all the time, well i was tod hit the D but once then again, S1 will come up, hit it again and S11 will come up. Well i did that and the bike is now absolutely perfect (for me).
Some weeks ago when i rode to the dealers to book for the service (don't use orrible phones) i was consciously looking for anything i didn't like about the bike. I could find nothing. I've even sorted out a Nav holder and connected up.
Happy teddy.
Work is for people that can't play golf.

Glad you've got it working how you want it.

I still haven't gelled with the MT09, but put a good few miles on in February, and I'm getting happier with it.

Roll on the warmer weather
If it ain't fun, don't do it
