Well i went and did it again.
The BMW R12 is in the back of the garage with 164 miles on it.
I just went and bought and new, to be registered on the new 74 reg 1st Sept Honda NT1100 DCT in Matt Jeans Blue and the full Voyager kit.
Be nice to have a full auto again.
Insurance sorted.............wow, got proper expensive (then again no NCD as it's attached to the BMW)
The X-ADV must be one of the most underated laughed at bike........BUT........in my view it's been one of the best i've had. If the seat could have been lowered to 800mm or less it would not have been sold, that's for sure.
Lies, and more lies from A salesman.

Re: New Bike #3
Picked the new bike up yesterday and rode it home in the pissing rain. 74 reg.
On the 20 mile ride home not easy to get a take on it, but, if you like a bike whilst riding in the pissing rain then i think it should be ok in proper weather.
It did feel very comfy, my style of seating position. Aoto (DCT) imo is great.
We will see.
Think i may take it to the Picos in a couple of weeks.

Booked 10 days in Jungfrau Camping, Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland from 16th Sept.
Taking the new...new bike to show it some roads around there. Stunning.
Taking it on the trailer towing behind the MH.
Going alone, Shirl don't want to come.
