Hibernation

Post by bobsnicholson »

Noticed over the last couple of weekends just how many bikes have been brought out of hibernation.
Mine will be out at month's end. Are you out already or did you not hibernate the bike??

I've never 'hibernated' my bikes they've all been kept taxed etc for those rare dry clean days in autumn/winter or even spring they way the UK weather's going ! sods law dictated that if I were to sorn mine we would have brilliant weather.

Brig --- have you looked at next weekends forecast ? :(

I don't SORN the bike either. All legal through the winter, however, as we spend so much time elsewhere in the winter month's my bike is "Hibernated"???

Pretty much only ride the F800GT in winter, so the Bonnie and Xmoto have not been out in a while.

I've not used mine so much this winter as John's illness makes him feel the cold. I can't get used to being a fair weather biker at all, plus I feel a bit mean abandoning him and having fun. I have spiffy new suspension on my bike and lovely new Bridgestones to abuse when I do get the chance. :D
