I just said not too bad, or could have been worse when people asked me how I was afterwards. It was only a few days later, when I saw the words multiple fractures written in black and white that it dawned on me that I had been properly hurt.
I felt ashamed that I wasn't able to get up and defend myself when it happened so I suppose I just wanted to brush it off and forget about it as soon as possible.
