Manic, scary, quite dangerous at times and so much fun! Cold, windy and occasionally sunny. Now voiceless through shouting and very, very stiff and hobbly after getting all the bikes back off the beach before the tide came back in.
What a fun weekend with many, many friends and I managed to round up a few more Triumph owners to join the club and also to come to play at the Betteshanger Sprint, in August, where we do it all again, but with proper rules and safety stuff. No sand involved, which is much less tiring.
I didn't ride as I'm still too feeble, but I made myself useful and ate lots of fancy food and an ice cream.
Today I shall mostly be nursing the aches, pains and bruises (kick starts still bite) and lying down a lot. I pushed a stomp bike a very long way as we have to walk the bikes a long way to get to the beach.
There was also lots of naughtiness with car park racing before and after beach time. That was fun to watch, too. The whole weekend made me very, very happy to be alive
