Re: New bike

Update just now.
I'm surprised they contacted me.
It's NOT the rack kit (so someone told me a lie) it's the fog light fixing kit they are waiting for.
Don't know when it will arrive.
Told them to keep the bike until it's finished, don't want a incomplete bike. Also the place is 50 miles away so would mean a run there to have it finished.
Honestly.
One thing for sure, i wont be buying anymore bikes, thats it me done.

Bob, just ask for your money back. (In cash)

That will soon have them scurrying around and giving you explanations.

They won't do that. And the chances of getting one of these special edition would be slim.
The bike is there, they said they would deliver it without the spot lights, i've said no, i've paid for a full bike i want the full bike.
Strange i got the V5 in the post yesterady, that's a first, V5 before the bike.

Your dealer certainly knows how to take the joy out of bike shopping.
I hope it's something you really enjoy once it does arrive. :)

New bike was delivered on Thursday.
As i am taking to Picos next weekend i have to get 600 miles on it for Thursday when it's booked in for it's first service.
Well i've done 275 already.
I have to say Honda have come up with a winner with this one. It does everything. Cruises very easy and comfortable on M/W at 70, very chuckable on windy bits, 72 MPG thus far.
People still cannot catorgarise it, a scoot, a bike, a adventure, who knows. What i do know is i think we are going to be friends.
And it begs the question, do i really need the Wing now🤔🏍️

The old dilemma... you can only ride one bike at a time ......but It's also nice to have the choice.... Being a Gemini, I tend to not make my mind up very easily but It's great to have choice.
Ok, I confess.......

Absolutely lovin this new bike....................don't call it a scooter cause it's NOT.
Only issue i have is when i come to a stop. Although i have had the seat lowering kit fitted it's still too high for my likkle legs. Need to find a way to reduce it another 2/3cm or so.
The bike is very chuckable, love it on the country lanes.
Going in for 1st service on Thursday.
Saturday night down to Newhaven for the ferry to Dieppe taking the MH and bike on my new motolug trailer.
2 days there 2 days back and 8 days based in Potes to do a good bit of riding in the Picos mountains.
Mrs Bob is staying at home to do her hair.
