first ride..

Dry roads locally so decided to take the bike for a quick spin, dug out my kit, washed my visor, took the bike out of the Garage and Click Click... battery flat ! It has some type of Optimate connector but has obviously not been connected when at the Dealers although It started fine last week... now waiting to get charged.

I know how that feels! Reminds me that I need to get my Optimate connector replaced on the Striple.

Grom had the same issue too... Both now fully charged and ready..... i'll be out on the MT today, got a Bedroom to measure out in the countryside next to a reservoir, so I'll be having a bit of me time with a spot of bird watching.

The Main roads were terrible but the lanes were all pretty good so I took the long scenic route home.... A first for me was getting beeped for riding slowly through a Village !!!

Any chance to get the Aprilia or the Grom out yet?
It's nice here today, but I'm keeping my head down. This morning I fired up my garden shredder, thinking I'd shred the hedging that's taken me days and days to untangle from two layers of weed fabric and cut into shredder size bits. Jeezus. It's SO LOUD!!! I turned it off and hid indoors, waiting for complaints. One of my nice new neighbours was only let out of hospital yesterday. He doesn't need that racket just now.
Maybe I can creep out for a ride on Sunday. Very quietly!
S'pose I'll have to sell the shredder. It's really antisocial and I never noticed when I had no neighbours nearby

Hoping either today or tomorrow for the Aprilia, Groms not insured or taxed yet, will have to wait a bit. I have a Shreader too, it's currently buried in the shed but i'll be getting it out in the week as one of our Bay's is way too tall now.... not looking forward to that job either.
