bike valet.

Post by Beelady »

I've booked a valet for the Street Triple, I promised it to myself for a treat after the misery of house selling/moving and now's the time.
It gets washed and dried, the down pipes get the brown marks removed (they don't bother me but it's in with the price) and then a ceramic polish, even the wheels.
Finally, it's winter ACF treatment.
I'd got it into my head that I'm not as good as I was at keeping it bright and sparkly, just through lack of practice. I had forgotten about some of its nooks and crannies and it all seemed rather hard work, so it seemed a good idea to have someone else do it, just this once.
Then I took it out to a breakfast meet last Sunday. Sunny day, almost dry roads and I parked up to wait for the others. I was amazed to see that it was pretty much back to it's best and every single club member commented on how clean it was.
Anyway, I've decided to pay up and go ahead with the valeting. I shall be interested to see what I can learn and what the end result is like compared to my efforts.
No. There won't be pictures :D
Roll on the 22nd! Quite looking forward to it really.

I KNEW someone would mention under the seat!!!! :D
No. It costs extra and there's wires under there that don't need provoking. The seat itself gets cleaned though. I'm hoping he can get the last traces of paint off it (it's a long, ongoing story). I'd love to see it looking good again.

Spent 2 hours on mine a few days ago giving it a Bob clean. Now waiting for a dry spell to give it it's last run so i can put it to bed for the winter.
Don't need to touch the scoot as not been using it so still brand new.
Work is for people that can't play golf.
