Almost a real biker again.

Post by Beelady »

Go me! I've been riding my bikes almost every day this week, even in wet weather, although it's been really warm and sunny most of the time.
Getting used to turning round on my drive and manging everyday stuff, just as I used to before things fell apart and I've found a Shell garage that sells E5 and has a nice. clean forecourt, which I like.
I'm slowly learning my way around the area and feeling generally more settled, although I miss my wildlife very much. I've had a few sparrows on the bird feeders but nothing else of interest.
Liking my beach walks though. It's all coming together :)

Has been quite warm recently.
Good on you getting out and about on the bike.
I have to motivate myself nowadays to get out but when i do i love it.
The frequency i get out nowadays is reducing.
Work is for people that can't play golf.

Always good to get out and explore the area, I've not ridden my bikes since the New Forest trip, just the Battery bike as it's all been little local trips.. today we're off to Muchelney on the levels for the night, taking the Battery bike so I can get off road on some tracks and Droves, taking my Magnet Fishing line to see if I can catch anything interesting lurking in the Drains.... a few years back, you might recall the Somerset Levels were mostly underwater, Muchelney became an Island cut off and only boats and Helicopters could reach it.........
Ok, I confess.......

Weather has been glorious today.
I really fancied a ride out, but there are leaves everywhere
And I'm feeling crappy after another covid and flu jab yesterday

Fazer needs a service and a new back tyre. Will get my mates brother to sort it for me.
If it ain't fun, don't do it

I'll definitely be a real biker next year (like I said last year :D )
Bike gone into storage as I'm finally getting round to putting a liquid screed down on the garage floor and extension .
It wasn't my fault , I was left unsupervised !

It will be worth the wait. You'll be glad to have all that work done and out of the way.

I'm now suffering from shed envy. Yours looked so good and now I've got the entire contents of the old workshop stacked ceiling high in my new 8X6 garden shed I'm wondering if I'll ever actually be able to find any tools ever again.
