Ireland

Post by bobsnicholson »

Last day of our Ireland tour today so going into Dublin for the afternoon and evening.
Ferry tomorrow afternoon.
It's been a blast.
Forgotten just how nice Ireland is for touring.
Little traffic, fantastic people, and that Guinness oh that Guinness 😋
Dublin to Donegal then hugged the coast all the way down doing Thw Wild Atlantic Way, The Ring of Kerry ANF The Ring of Breara (highly recommended). Finishing the Way at Kinsale.
1 wet day (fortunately it was a longish driving day), the rest have been very warm dry and mostly sunny, we really did have the luck of the Irish.
Back to the mad house on Thursday where our mob from Dubai are waiting for us. My grandson who is nearly 3 is angry with me cause i was not there when he arrived about a week ago..........an ice cream should placate him.

Got 100s of pics Nev but won't be able to get any on here. I have put lots on the MH forum.
And yes we finished up in Temple Bar last night. Gone very expensive (like everywhere else) €18 for a Guinness and a Prosecco :'-(
Lots and lots of foreign bike tourers', vast majority BMW GSes
Ferry at 2.30pm to Holyhead.

Ha Ha.... It's put to good use then ! Can't remember what we paid 20 odd years ago but it wasn't dear at the time.... very friendly people though. Even had a mini tour of the city by our Taxi Driver for no extra charge.... drove like a nutter though!
Ok, I confess.......
