How Much ????
How Much ????
Bloody hell, I went to Holeshot Kawasaki earlier to get a quote for my Z900, it was sort of what I expected so It'll probably be gone soon but whilst they were doing the Maths.... i took a wander around their showroom....... Was stood looking at the Kawasaki H2 SX SE......... then read the price........ £26,499...... WTF? Why on earth would you pay that, It'll lose £5000 over night.......
Ok, I confess.......

Kawasaki brought out the SX as a replacement for the GTR , but there are better bikes in the sports tourer category for less than £26K !
It wasn't my fault , I was left unsupervised !

I'm saving up for my retirement bike.
Would take me a while to get £26k together

Indeed.... even their own Z1000 SX which is £14,000 cheeper.... Even the salesman who I've known for 20 years said it's too much.CantCorner wrote: ↑Thu Aug 18, 2022 5:12 pm Kawasaki brought out the SX as a replacement for the GTR , but there are better bikes in the sports tourer category for less than £26K !

It's funny you mentioning that, I've recently been wondering what I might have when I retire.... it's not far off now.Ninjachica wrote: ↑Thu Aug 18, 2022 10:06 pm I'm saving up for my retirement bike.

Had four quotes for the Z900, ranging from £5500 to £7100.... probably could have got more but buggered If i could be bothered with EBay so It's going back to Bransons..... only rode it 2150 miles in the two years and never really gelled with it, the last ride only re confirmed my feelings....... It did look good though.
Ok, I confess.......

You would look good on a Goldwing Nev, AND it has a low seat height . But you wont get a manual in a couple of years, they are stopping making them.Snev wrote: ↑Fri Aug 19, 2022 6:49 amIt's funny you mentioning that, I've recently been wondering what I might have when I retire.... it's not far off now.Ninjachica wrote: ↑Thu Aug 18, 2022 10:06 pm I'm saving up for my retirement bike.

Work is for people that can't play golf.
Re: How Much ????
I do love the Idea of having a Wing but it would take a change in my thinking of late..... Lighter is better..... but I know they are very deceptive whilst on the go.....a couple of other things i'm warming to is the difference having a Quick shifter makes and in the Sur-rons case, no clutch.... both are brilliant and I guess very similar to having the DCT system/automatic.
Ok, I confess.......

Loved it at Matlock when Bob put the wing into reverse.
