I have to say once again how shite the UK road network is.
Alicante to Santander an absolute pleasure.
Portsmouth within 300 mts of getting off the boat road works, and then lot's of em on the way up. 1 n a bit hours stop start traffic on M42, all in all an absolute nightmare once again. AND if i ever get my hands on these utter dicks that set the limit's on the boards i wouldn't be responsible for my actions, truly knobs of the highest order. 50, clear, 40, 60, back to 50 they really believe this smooths the traffic flow???. What qualifications or expertise do these twats have to justify wasting hours of ours lives on clear roads when they put up 40 or 50 when 70+ is more tan safe. Get off your effing arses and earn some of our zillions we pay in road related taxes.
Hate UK roads (operators) with a vengeance
AND the worse bit is all us Brit motorists sit there and take this shit. They don't/wont in France or Spain or other Euro
country's. They use this health and Safety bollocks here, MORONS the lot.
Now happy, until i have to go on a run again.

I had it last Saturday, miles and miles at 40 mph on the A14 zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I still think it's funny, in Spain, when there is a lane closure, that they just stick a bloke with an orange vest and a flag about 20 meters before the incident!

I seriously think questions need to be asked at Government level on why the roads are in such a state . I read/heard some random statistic that it would take 25 years to fill all the potholes around the UK . Surely re-surfacing would be better option .

You have to understand that Parliament represents the central bankers, not the British people (all "western elected" governments share this trait, with the exception of Iceland). :'-(
