Bike meet every Wednesday night (and apparently Monday too).

Saw the weather forecast and washed the bike last night.
Got up this morning. Wet. Grey clouds.
So what?!
Jumped on the bike and got to work with a big grin
Sun is trying to shine.

I really must stop washing the bike in the dark! I'll have to park in a quiet corner when I get there and hope no one notices the muck left over from Cornwall!

Looking forward to the long ride home tonight - the scenic route - possibly (probably) via Matlock Bath

Was that our one day of Summer?

Nice ride out to MFN.

Lots of bikes there already at 6:30 and more arriving all the time.

Had a nice dirty burger (!) and a bimble around then set off for a ride through the peak district.
Ended up at Matlock Bath (of course) for a cup of tea. Could hardly park, even though it was a school day.

Then via Carsington Reservoir for the ride home.

Happy days

looking at the weather cast this am, Alicante 21/22c London 25/26c.................i'm coming back.
