Mr NC has ordered a lowering kit for the V-strom - but due to his poor health, he can't fit it.

Took it to the Spanish bike shop today. Mr NC explained everything in English, with lots of waving arms. I translated as best as possible... bike is booked in for Thursday pm - should take about 20 minutes to fit!

Mr NC is a happy chappie again.

What a difference.

Slight change in shape to a triangle, and several inches difference in the back wheel. Mr NC can put his feet flat on the floor and the whole thing feels much more stable.

Better yet - Mr Mechanic only wanted 5 euros for the job

The joy in getting your feet down after having to totter on tiptoes is like nothing else. That should make his biking a lot more enjoyable.

I don't mind a very tall bike if it is light and not really harmed by being dropped (e.g. Xmoto).
