The more i ride this bike the more i'm convincing myself that after the Wing it's the best bike i've had.
Did Matlock Bath yesterday. Lot's of bikes out and Kostas F&Cs were as good as every for £9 with a tea.
Did 160 miles total yesterday, a lot for me.
It's amasing how pressing one button one more time can transform a bike. Press D for drive then press again immediately for S1 and it's a different bike. Lovin it.

Great to see you are out and about, what's the engine like and the seat height and the comfort ?

It really is like a mini Wing. I'm lovin it.
Seat height on mine is 790mm.
It's a DCT so now i've sorted the modes Tour S1 or S11 for day to day stuff it really is spot on for me.
As for comfort, well as mentioned it's like the Wing, the screen is adjustable manually (but once it's in position i havn't moved it) keeps most of the wind off and being an old un i like that. Leg wind deflectors, heated grips, Sat Nav via the phone onto the big screen (got a nice holder for the phone thats dead handy).
And at 100 BHP it goes really well, had a play in Sports mode and it's really too lively (like that daft Kawasaki Z900RS i had) so it wont be going in sports mode often.
Anyway i'm lovin it as mentioned.

No.
The motorhome was sold last month.
We have scratched that itch.
Enjoyed it whilst it lasted apart from the build quality of Bailey, atrocious.

How's the candles coming on?

How far are you from Haynes Motor Museum?. Thinking of having a look see. Want to stay in a nice country pub overnight within a short drive/ride of it. Any suggestions if you know would be welcome.

Oh, I thought you might have sold it, I know what you mean about quality... ours has a list of things that need fixing, can't even start it now, some fuse somewhere has blown.
We are about 12 miles from haynes, It's certainly a good place to visit... "The Red Room" has lots of exotic red cars. Also I can highly recommend Yeovilton's Fleet Air Arm Museum, lot's of super aircraft including Concorde.

Have a look at the Red Lion Inn, at Babcary , It's not far away and I've heard good things.

I liked the look of The Red Lion so booked one night next Monday 17th. Menu is a bit posh but they do have a back up in the form of Pizza. Breakfast better be good for £18
Also booked my ticket for Haynes on the Tuesday.
Read 3 or 4 hours is generally enough to look around. I'll be there when it opens, drive home when done.
Plan on getting to Red Lion bout 3pm ish.
Thanks for the tip. It pushed me to confirm it.
