I'm back again!

I have yet another new internet provider. I have no idea why it hid this site, but I missed you all, so it's nice to be here.
Bob has pictures! Nev has pictures! Brig has always had pictures! I don't have pictures and not just on here now. I live in hope that someone who can work a computer will come and visit.
I have a good old fashioned handyman coming to do a list of jobs later this month. Maybe he can do computers as well as buildery, woodworkery stuff.

Meanwhile, I have been learning to ride the Bonneville better. I still suffer Street Triple withdrawal symptoms, but my goodness! A full service is exactly half the price at a main dealer. That was a nice surprise.
I've done 6,ooo miles on it so far. It should have been more but sickness and people dying all over the place claimed some of my time. It's been a very up and down year, but I think all of us have times like that in our lives. It makes me even more determined to enjoy every day. so
One of the very best bits of my year, so far happened only last Thursday. My turn for an allotment came up!!!
It's exactly two minutes walk away and was one of the things I gambled on when I chose this house.
I had a choice of three plots and they were all a bit rough, but one had a shed and several fruit trees already there so, despite some of the edge to edge weeds, that's the one I chose and now the shed has my own lock on and I've cleaned it out, which was disgusting with two full sacks of food wrappers, along with what looked like ten fizzy drink bottles of unmentionable liquid along with all sort of nastiness.
Today is day one of actual gardening. I plan to clear the weeds from the base of the fruit trees and get grease bands onto the trunks. Then I shall go out for a ride as it's going to be sunny here today. Mustn't overdo things! :)

Oh, that's excellent news Bee

My brother in Germany has done the same. Got a 'garden' in his own village now, instead of 10kms away.
He has electric and water though (with toilet) in a little/tiny house.

I'm really enjoying it, so far. I have water and there's a real toilet that actually flushes as someone had the clever idea of connecting it to the plumbing in the local football teams dressing room, where the allotment backs onto the playing fields.
I have a camping cooker and kettle in my shed and have many breaks while I admire my plot. Weeds are almost cleared and I've started marking out beds.
It's the last piece of my jigsaw puzzle of things that make living here feel better. What with this and a reliable bike things are looking a bit brighter.
Last year was tough, with losing my oldest friend early in the year and followed almost immediately by my Mum. Another friend died very recently, so I'm making sure I don't wast a moment of enjoying myself.

I love those little German gardens. They are wonderful and all so different.

I can assure you Bee me getting those pictures up recently was a pure fluke.
What buttons you press today does not mean they will work tomorrow.
Example, i am now going to try and put a pic up.

That looks amazing. I have a friend who lives in Perth and more in Western Australia, yet I never think of going there.
I should visit friends in New Zealand as well. So many people to see and so little time to do it all.

The earlier picture was one of Broken Hill and one of my cabin of the train.
I wasn't conviced any pictures would come up so i just chose at random.
I tried again this morning and only managed to get one random one up.
It's weird and frustrating why the bloody hell it works when it's in the mood.

I know you can only post 3 at a time, and also not large files.

My son reconfigured his system over Christmas, but i don't think he changed anything on here.
