here this morning.... Bloody gritters out already....

Yes, first defrost of the the season for us to. It was showing 1c when we went to the dentist at 0915

I got the ACF50 on in time! It was close, but done, ready for the next outing.

Any one going on a bike in this weather are either bonkers or a pizza delivery rider.
Good cloathing or not.
Of course i am refering to this country.
-7c according to our garden temperature measuring machine yesterday at 7am

I had considered pizza delivery but realised that with my sense of direction it probably wouldn't work.
I like to ride on cold, but sunny days during winter. Today is not one of them. Wet and windy and I feel really good about not going to work any more. I wonder how many years the satisfaction of being retired will last

Retirement.
I think i've been retired about 12 years now.
Only regret.........................i didn't retire earlier which i could have done.

As for riding in the freezing cold. Did a few last winter and i think i enjoyed them.
This year and onwards, no thank you.

Bike is tucked away until leaves come back on the trees.

Drove to work on Wednesday. -3⁰
Just as i turned off the A50, a bike went past.
No thank you.

I'm keeping the re-sale value of my bike high by keeping the mileage down . Nothing to do with the weather this time of the year.

Out on Sunday, it was around 27⁰ in places.
Today was nearer 17⁰

Still in summer gloves and armoured hoodie, but proper boots.
It's due to really drop by the end of this week.
