I just had 2 weeks in Spain.
Pished down nearly every day.

Amazing lightning storms (day and night)

Only got the ninja out twice.
Rubbish waste of holiday time!

Feck me. That ninja is tiny 😆😆😆😆😆

Shame about the weather, It's been a mixed bag here, not ridden for two weeks now........ I think that after riding your FZ and the V strom, you would feel a little cramped on the Z.... I've gone right off sports bikes now.

I have had a rest as I managed to catch a cold, however, the excitement all starts again today as I have to take the cat to get his annual vaccination, now he's a town cat. How much!!!???
I've also found a ride in tyre place locally, so I am waiting to be called once my Kawasaki tyres are in stock. 17" is not a popular size, apparently. I'm told it's getting Conti's, which aren't my favourite, but realistically I don't do enough miles to be picky about the tyres, so I'm going with it.
Counting the days until 13th October, which is the day I find out if the 400 Triumph will be small enough for me, and if I can get some of my mods done before I collect it. Lots of extras to be fitted and I'm toying with the idea of new paint. It's likely to be my last bike, so I plan to load it with useful stuff, like rad. guard and huggers and maybe a top box, although I'm not really keen on that. Could be useful though.
Once I know if it fits I can get a price for the Striple. I have no idea what it's worth. I'll see if they want it as part X and if not it will go to we buy any bike, as I just don't have the front to sell it to anyone, knowing how picky it is about everything. And there's stuff to take off and sell separately. What a faff.
It's a weird feeling. I have such brilliant memories of it, but I'm frankly afraid to take it out on my own now as I worry all the time about it starting. I'm happy with the electrics, at last, but now the starter motor jams and I need a new front tyre and a disc. I could throw more money at it, but the joy when I look at it has gone.
Time for a change. Fingers crossed for the 400 fitting. I have no idea what to do if it's too tall or heavy.
We shall see.

17 inch wheels are pretty much the norm now, apart from the Adventure stuff ? sounds a bit strange that..... Fingers crossed for you on the 400 and selling the striple... I hate selling stuff.

No doubt the tyre people have seen me coming. :'-( I shall check the arrows are pointing the right way before I ride away. I wanted Bridgestones but they told me they don't make them that size. Lying b*******.
It's horrible, trying to find new places to do jobs for me. I knew who to trust where I lived before. I tried eight different sewing machine repair shops locally and not of of them knew what they were doing, or assumed I'd believe them, perhaps. One tried to tell my my machine wasn't up to the job of quilting, which is odd because it's a specialist machine for exactly that purpose. It makes me so cross.
I ended up driving all the way back to the shop I've used for years and they did their usual fuss free servicing and didn't talk down to me.
Same for car tyres. Everyone wanted to overcharge me, so I went back to the marsh and used the place that's looked after me for over 20 years.
And Bob wonders why I'm fierce about getting proper customer service :D
