Seat height

I have had the seat height reduce by the max Honda can do with the kit they have.
It is still not low enough for paddling or stopping lights etc, it's a stretch.
Can anyone make any suggestions of how to lower the seat more (no i won't let the tyres down
)
I did contact 3 upholsterers and explain my plight and what i was wanting, not one replied (usual business practice here i've learnt.
Anyway heres hoping.

Forget lowering the seat and buy yourself some stilettos.

And i'm looking for another solution as i've tried them and they are too wobberly.

Maybe get in touch with Lust Racing.
They do loweing kits. Might be able to help you out.

i'm surprised to hear that you struggle with this issue Bob, would have thought it would be lower than that.... If it makes any difference, you might want to get the suspension set for you, mine was done yesterday and there is a noticable lowering of the seat height now.

Honda do a kit for this bike that lowers the seat 1 2 or 3cm.
I chose 3cm.
It feels very little different from origonal.
I am still on tip toes when stopped, so obviously peddling is a issue.
So the suspension mods will lower it more eh?
Will it alter the comfort. At the mo i can sit on this bike for longer than the Wing...........really.
It's the only issue with this bike, other than this the bike is great...........IMO and for me.

To be honest, I don't know what it would do to your bike but mine was set way too extreme and now it's lower and way better to ride.... would have thought a 30mm lower seat would have been really noticeable... so I'm guessing the suspension won't make a lot of difference.

Disappointing about the Lust links not working for you. I found I didn't have to change the front too much afterwards, on two of my bikes, but I did have to have a shorter side stand fitted both times.
Shame that you're not having any luck with upholsterers. How annoying. I think I'd be doing that if the lowering hasn't helped.
Must take my spare Kawasaki seat down the road to my local one. I want to try a Bonneville style seat, in the hope that it will be more comfortable than the standard one. I have a spare seat and a pension, so why not?

Buy a spare seat and shave a bit off the sides. Often it is the width that is a problem
