Nev i had 2 attempts at buying kitchen soft door closers from Amazon.
Both attempts have resulted in rubbish.
Could you advise what brand name i should be looking at to get a set that works.
Ta too much.

BLUM.... Best quality... there are two versions but the best is the hinge with soft close built into the hinge itself... the other version has a piggy back mounted piston.. Here is a picture.... the little grey triangle is the on/off part... for large doors turn both hinges on, for smaller doors turn one off.

Even I understood those pictures
Handy, having experts to ask advice from.
I've just spent out on a new optimate for trickle charging next winter. Does it come with connectors that suit my leads already fitted on my bikes? No. it doesn't. Now I have to find an expert, too.

Optimates come with Crocodile Clips, all you do is connect them to the battery... they also come with permanent wires that you can connect to the battery and leave the socket part dangling ready to connect or remove for riding.
