Last day touristing in Iceland.
Back to Reyjavic via The Blue Lagoon.
Early morning flight back to sunshine.
Not a place you would come to if you don't like putting your hand in your pocket or getting your wallet out.
Awesome sites and scenery.
Been there done that.

Did you go swimming in Silfra Gorge ?
Seems every programme I've watched about Iceland , everyone goes snorkelling there .

Yesterday I was reading about the best bits to visit. The Blue Lagoon got a mention. It looked pretty spectacular

Never even heard of the Silfra Gorge.
Done a lot of touristing here.
Blue Lagoon is one of those places that has to been seen and smelt to appreciate it.

Sulphur (rotten eggs) I'm guessing .

Correct. Sulphur. Not overpowering at all but distinctive.
