I managed to actually ride the Tuono and the Grom for their first real rides... Tuono feels like a new bike, great engine and gearbox, firm suspension and solid feel, a bit tall but i can still flat both feet on level ground. Grom is now sorted and everything works really well, It's got way more power, revs higher and actually has a power band ! Forecasts show another 2 weeks of rain so back in the garage and on the Optimate's they will be. Has anyone else managed a ride lately ?

I'm out on the Wing tomorrow taking it for MOT.
Forecast is pissing down...................nice.
Thankfully it's only about 2 miles away.

Grat to hear the little monster is running good at long last. I would have given up a long time back. Then again i wouldn't have done it ;-)

That'll be your first ride for quite a while I guess...... we have two more weeks of rain here.... bloody frustrating but i'm still riding the MT09 as it's dirty anyway.

Just realised that I've only had one bike out in the last month. Still recovering from Covid and the weather hasn't really been very nice.
New garden shed arriving on Friday. I'm still getting the base prepared, then I have to paint the back and one side of the shed before it gets put together, and I'm waiting for the arrival of scaffolding and builders, so they can get the rendering done on the house.
After that I only need to dig a pond and I can start living the new dream. All day out on my bike and evenings pottering in the garden. :)

Ed complained the he was wobbling around like an old lady on his last weekend.

(Don't know who he was referring to)
Tyres are squared off!
Should be getting new ones fitted on Saturday.

I love new tyre day! And I'm sure I'll be joining Ed in the wobbling about for a while. I did that after waiting to collect the Triumph after a year without it.
Phil took me to pick it up and said he was poised to run after me and collect the pieces, but once I was past the first junction it all came back and I could feel the silly grin starting. :D
I may be getting a new rear tyre very soon. I think a puncture repair may have failed and I have a slow one that's getting worse. I'd rather pay for a new one and be sure.
It's first on my to do list when I next get it out.
