Hope your road trip is going well.... I was watching the weather in western Australia a week or two back... didn't look good with all the rain.....

We got all the way up to a town called Tom Price. Next stop should have been Broome then Fitzroy Crossing, or roughly like that.........until we got the news that the Fitzroy Crossing bridge was down and nowt was going East or West.
We decided at Tom price to turn around and come back south, lucky enough on a different road we went north on.
Anyway we are now in Alice Springs arriving from the South when we should have arrived from the North.
Here for 2 more days then onto Ullaru.
Done 8,000 ish Ks thus far and still got 3 weeks ish to go. It's been a blast.
3 days ago came out of a site onto the main road and the bitch said " go straight for 686 Ks then turn left"

And BTW a happy New Year to all.

Leaving Alice Springs today to go to Ullaru for 3/4 days.
A place thats been on my bucket list for decades.

A long term wish is a monumental achievement .... I'd be tempted to pick up a small rock to keep as a momento !

It's forecast to rain lightly for 7 mins at 12.30am. Glad i'll be sleeping

It's been rather entertaining..... We live on a hill that never gets Salted and there are about 50 cars stuck, a couple have burn't out their clutches.... Sammy just got home in the Tranny no probs at all
