Very long ride today............for me. I nearly went around the block to get the 300 miles up, as it happend i only did 296 miles. God that bike is comfy, and with the right cloathing on i was as snug as a bug in a rug.
Yarkshire, Devils Bridge, Buttertubbs Pass, and so so many roads, lanes, villages inbetween.
Called in at Hawes to get some propper Wenslydale Cheese.
Dry, warm(ish), little traffic once past Preston and off onto the A & B roads.
And trust me, that bike can shift a bit.

Well my theory about downsizing is going to have to wait a bit.
So i'm going to Upsize the small scoot (managerial thinking that hey what)

Any hour now i'm going to be another grandad.

Another grandbaby! Well done.

I am playing Nanny Emma tomorrow. Collecting from school and then a sleepover as my lovely daughter-in-law is having a minor op later today and will need looking after tomorrow. Any excuse to gat my little baking and biking buddy round to play :)

The sun's out here, too. Perfect riding weather but I'm waiting for a parcel, so no more play for a couple of days. Glad you got out though. There's nothing more relaxing than a great ride out on a nice day.

Hat's off to you Bob, 300 miles is a nice long trip either way you look at it.... I really must motivate myself to get out more as the last few years have been a bit lacking..... I do like the winter months though so maybe i'll start in a bit...

Weather is lovely here today. Great biking weather, but waiting for a phone call to go and be introduced to our new grandson. :D
