Bikers' Banter

So since madam told me i didn't like the scooter rack i sold it. This was whilst a new Honda 125 SHi was on order.
New scoot delivered but nowhere to put for trips in/on the MH
So i just bought a Motolug SE PLUS bike trailer to be delivered tomorrow. Capable of carrying a bike up to 350Kgs.

So now i will have the ability to upgrade the 125 as that was bought purely on weight criteria.
The 125 is now for sale...........just 100 miles on it.

Question is what do i replace it with.
I want a light easy manageable scoot/bike specifically for the trailer to tow behind the MH.

I have gone back to maybe a X-ADV but i know there are lots of other options out there but racking my grey matter.

Suggestions

Middleweight ? Honda CBR650, MT07, I guess it depends on what you want it to do...... there are masses of bikes to choose from.... how about a V-Strom ?

Another possible.... how about the CB500, there are 3 models to choose from, starting @ £6000.... good enough for having an explore around, Cheap to run and easy to get comfy... @47 BHP is not much but good enough, I have ridden a few over the years as Loan bikes and always been impressed ?

I have always liked them and it will be put on my short list.
