I was out, too. I went to try a pair of winter gloves I bought last year and didn't really like. I did 127 miles of bendy roads and still can't make up my mind so I'll just have to try again on Thursday. I have to tale the Kawasaki to Ramsgate so it will be a good excuse to wear them again. I put the liner back in my jacket for today's adventures as there's been a definite chill in the air for the last couple of days. I also got out the rest of the winter kit to make sure it still fits, which it did so no excuse to buy any more yet. I'd really like a heated vest but that's a bit extravagant just for now so I'm keeping an eye on ebay for a second hand one.

I hope the lovely sunshine lasts a bit longer. It's been such a nice summer and couldn't have come at a better time for me. I've done over 6,000 miles since April, nearly all on dry roads. Greedy to hope for more, perhaps, but it would be nice :)

It must be since my medium hair kitty stopped shedding undercoat.

Agree, winter is deffo close by, so, i have decided to have a good run today to North Wales and The Ponderosa for lunch.

Tomorrow the bike will be "winterised"??, increase tyre (tire) pressure, steering locks, disc locks, big chains fitted, APC 50??? liberally applied, trickle charger attached, cover up and see you end of March 2019.
Early April it's likely the RT will get a garage mate in the form of a large scooter. :emb:
