Well, it finally happened.
Bike had a little lay down
First one this century
My fault. Spotted a right hand turn too late. Brake. Turn. Full right lock, zero power. Down
Zero damage, bar a tiny scuff on the mirror and crash bung.
Nice chap helped me pick it up.
So embarrassing.
If it's 23 years to the next one, I'll be happy.

It's embarrasing when it happens but at least there was no real damage. My Blackbird went down 3 times, once when I though I'd put the side stand down, once on Ice and once in our car park at work when a delivery driver reversed in to it......

It's something of a shock when you're not used to it. I break bones if I fall off at any sort of speed, but that's because I'm a bendy.
Hope it didn't hurt too much, the bike is ok and the embarrassment fades fast.
It must be the week for it. my friend got shunted into traffic and fell off when she was hit from behind at a junction, and I fell over with the Kawasaki, trying to move it in a car park. Just a dislocated thumb this time, but like you, really could have done without it. Obviously I had an audience. I always do

To make you feel better , I've dropped a bike while stationary in a carpark which was full of other bikers . Mate turned round while I was lying on the floor with a bike on top of me and told me to get up as I was embarrassing myself .

That is what Ed assumed I'd done
