A little bit of rain has fallen in Wales over the weekend ,
not going home this way .....

Spose there is one consolation, you wont be getting a hosepipe ban any time soon
I feel for the people that get their homes flooded, must be horrible.

Poor people, and it seems even worse in France, with 10 dying in flash floods.
I live in a high risk flood zone. My neighbours and I have all been out making sure all our ditches and drains are as clear as they can be and the Environment agency have done the field behind the house with a dredge bucket, so we have more depth then usual. Lucky the water table is at it lowest for some years. I always spend winter worrying about floods, even though it's only reached the house once before. Always need to keep an eye on the weather once winter comes. I don't want Gareth coming and taking pictures like that round here
