Weather (yawn)

Post by bobsnicholson »

Don't you just love the British weather. The time of year when the thermals should be worn we are looking for short sleeve shirts.
Out on Monday AND Tuesday going nowhere inpartic, just riding, it were grand.
Got home bout 4.30 and sat in the garden having a beer, potty.
Wont be getting that ACP 50 out just yet.

My ACF50 is done, ready for the first salty roads, but the weather's been beautiful today. Sadly, I spent most of it driving my Mother around in the car. Every bike I saw made me jealous. But tomorrow looks good. Woohoo! I plan to spend all day out and make the best of every moment :D

Bit breezy here today , wind speeds of over 60kts recorded with constant rain . With a lot of my job being weather dependant I'll probably have finished reading the internet by 5pm .

I went out on the bike today. That wind got worse and worse. I had to stop in the end as my head couldn't put up with the battering and squinting into the sun at the same time. Just for once I wished for a fairing to hide behind. Made it safely home in the end but a one hour journey took me over two hours and I'm absolutely knackered. Must be getting too old for all this adventuring.

Thank you Bob. I know. :D

I just felt the need to get out on it and I told myself the forecast (wind picking up) was wrong, because it's always wrong. Should have stayed in and gone out today, instead. There's always tomorrow. I am trying to decide between the Ring of Red or Brightona. I don't think I want to try doing both. The forecast is bad, of course, but it's probably wrong :D
