Oh, the shame.

Is there a prize for being really stupid? I should have one.
I dropped the Kawasaki this morning. In front of seven very confused men. And it was all my own fault and although nobody laughed I can only imagine what they must have been thinking.
It happened like this: The Kawasaki refused to go into neutral when I parked at the meeting point for a ride out this morning. I started it with the clutch pulled in, as usual, and then completely forgot that it was in gear and let go of the clutch lever. FFS!!! Naturally, it set off in a sprightly manner with me, trying to hold on and stop it.
It didn't get far and it was the slowest drop ever as it gently settled, mostly in my lap.
I really hope I never do that again. At least I didn't have to try and pick it up on my own.....
Just the indicator mount was damaged, but I can glue that back on tomorrow. I just know they'll come up with a nickname for me. It has to be done, but I'm already wondering what it's going to be.
