It was heaving on Saturday. I didn't bother to stop and just rode through.

Few bikes but not too busy.
F&Cs in Kosta and very nice they were too.
Bit chilly over the moors into buxton but otherwise a really pleasant ride.
Can't believe i'm saying this this but gave the bike a good ragging (is that the word) for the last couple miles home. Tell ya, in sport mode it ain't no fairy. Nigh on shit me sen.

It's O.K Bob. I understand fluent Yorkshire. My Dad was from Knaresborough. I don't have the accent but then I don't hear the accent either. It's all just normal to me.
A lot of the family are from Newcastle and I don't hear that accent either. I had to translate for John as he couldn't understand a word once we all got chatting

When i first met Ed, i didn't understand half of what he said.
Funniest one... for years, when i went shopping he would sonetimes ask for 'tuffies', so i would always buy a bag of toffee for him. About 10 years in, he asked why i always got him toffee. Because that's what you asked for. No.
Apparently, tuffies are 'sweets'
(Verified by someone at work, not too long ago)
