Filled up the bike
It wasn't empty
£22.50
Flipping heck.
Don't think I'll be doing Scotland after all this year. Wales is a lot closer. Might have to find CC's shed and sleep in there to save money.
Holy heck
Re: Holy heck
Well, I filled the Grom for £6 and haven't had to refill it for 8 months..............
Ok, I confess.......
Re: Holy heck
I've seen diesel at £1.90.
I filled up the car a couple of weeks ago, so have plenty for now, but the Kawasaki could do with filling up. I have a £1 voucher for fuel. I wonder how much I'llget for that.
One of my many jobs in the past was as a forecourt attendant and I remember after one budget fuel rise, betting the chaps in the workshop that I'd be able to get £5 worth of petrol into an empty mini without spilling a drop.
I did and we were all pretty horrified that such a thing was possible
How things change. I remember converting back into real money once and realising a big pot of Marmite was costing me 10 shillings. I have been much more sparing with my Marmite ever since
