Thrashed the crap out of the MT09 for the first time and WOW, what a beast..... I know it's only a 900 but It's realy light at @170 KG's ( took some heavy bits off ) and the full Akrapovic and Race Filter have made such a difference...... even had a 4th gear wheelie............ Can't really convey the feelling but having ridden the Z900 for the past two weeks, the Torque of the MT makes the Z feel like a 250...... Loving the Quick Shifter too, it's great up and down...... and it Pops and Bangs !!!! not missing the ZZR1400 at all now but it had a genuine 200 BHP with @ 260 KG's compared to @ 120 BHP and @170 KG's so the power to weight ratio and the gearing make the MT a far better road bike in all honesty...... never thought I'd say that !!!!

I always fancied one of those, until i compared the mt seat with the fazer seat
Zzr's (and busas) are amazing bikes, but i recon any decent 900 is much better for on the road. More opportunities for fun

It's probably just me and the fact that it fits me so well and does everything I actually need..... Probably not for everyone but when you Jell with a bike so well, it's hard to find fault.... this 3 generation bike is a whole leap ahead of my 2013 bike and you all know how much I banged on about that one !!!!!!!!..... Tomorrow it's pissing down so my one job in Street will be in the Tranny..... next week looks to be a mixed bag but I hope to get out on the Z again..... The 2007 Fazer I had for a week was a great bike to sit on and the power was brilliant but that particular bike had really shocking Fuelling/throttle response which put me off........ It was fixed shortly after and i still think it would have been in my garage if I hadn't had such a bad one........ The Fazer and MT are very similar in all other respects....

Isn't it great when you find a bike you really enjoy?
I can't wait to get back on my favourite bike. I really like the Kawasaki but it's a completely different ride to the Striple.
