It’s acrylic (plastic!)
But 5mm thick - quite substantial

They do wood too. Lots of nice stuff

I now know far too much about bone cement. I am supposed to be having my knee replacement replaced because the cement has come loose. Why can't I resist reading everything I come across? Some things are better when you don't know what's going on.

Is knee replacement worse than ignition tumbler replacement?

It'll be cheaper
