Only encountered 2 men that were shocked at women riding litre bikes.

(What is that about? Do you feel threatened? Do you think women can’t handle a clutch and throttle?)

Lots of interesting stalls. Some actively asking for constructive feedback.
Practice on picking up a 125. (Really / why not something much bigger?)

Lucky with the weather. Yes it rained, but it was mostly dry.

We went first thing, lovely setting, lucky with the weather it did hammer it down on the way back. Chris spent ages on the Royal Enfield stand, it looks like we'll be visiting our local dealer when we're home. Thanks for the heads up on the show.

This whole Women in sport thing is a joke..... I've always helped Women in work to get an equal share of Pay and Respect and in my experience, they are as good as any Man in any circumstance given the opportunity..... in sports like this, there is no doubt in my mind that Women can compete and Win given the chance............ Our Daughter Abby is a real Petrol Head, She drives like a Twat and I'd be happy to bet on her winning a few races too......

Of course, there are loads of blokes that treat lady bikers as bikers, end of, but there are a huge number that don’t.

It seems to swing two ways ; how can you possibly ride that, it’s far too big for a girl, or, phoaarrr, fancy a ride on this (cue sexy moves).

Yes, there are some good female racers out there, but they struggle to get support.

Clothing is really difficult too. They need to cater for tall/short; curvy/straight and every combination in between. How can they possibly cater for everyone?
And no, short girls don’t want to wear kids clothes!

That said, most manufacturers seem to have finally spotted the gap in the market and are being realistic about how to fill it.

a lot of Men are ignorant Assholes that have never left the school playground let alone grown up..... Probably explains why there are so many Wars. Personally i treat people with respect whatever Sex, Race or Colour they are, unless they turn out to be assholes !!! Sammy was a really good Pool Player and trialled for the English ladies pool team but as a non Lesbian she was cast out as she didn't fit in ! Bias is everywhere.

Yup.

I get a bit of that, mostly from older men when I take the Kawasaki out. I can't believe the number of times I've been told not to touch the choke when I look as if I might be about to start it up. I knowthey mean well, but I grew up with manual chokes and I hope I know my own bike well enough not to flood it.
Now the suspensions so old I can at least get a flat foot and a toe on the ground

I was at a track day last Saturday, with a girl friend. She loaded her bike single handed, whizzing up the ramp with it at a run and half the paddock looked on with their jaws on the floor.
I could never do that, but I was so proud of her

Good thing they didn't see the first attempt at home with the new van. It was going well until she launched the bike up the ramp and realised she'd forgotten her step she needs to run up alongside it. How we laughed!

Have to agree about the clothing for women though. So hard to find boots and gloves. I'm not really happy with mine, but I'm always on the look out for things that fit better. Hoping that with all the better choices coming along I'll find the right things before I give up riding.
