Kept having second thoughts though...... It was one of those nagging moments when it just didn't feel right.... not sure if you know that feeling ? anyway I had a 2 hour window before my Home Visit kitchen design appointment. so decided to give the Z900 a proper test....... well It certainly is fixed now but I came upon a Woman in a Mini trying to overtake a Tanker and had to brake hard and go down the little bit of tarmac to the left of the solid white line on the side to avoid a head on......... It's funny how you react to that type of thing ....

What was wrong with the Z , was it the ECU as suspected ?

Yes mate, A duff one apparently...... Having said that, it still has a hint of the problem when cold but nothing like before.... Trouble is It's now all back to standard and I've lost the Re-map so I'm not sure whether to go through it all again. The Re-map was brilliant, giving a crisper fuller and notably more power, plus it would pop and Bang on the overrun......

I'm getting better though. I can do nearly 50 miles without needing a nap now

I did manage a bit of fast cornering last week. It felt very good Made my footpegs fold up twice on each side

I'm Impressed..... ! ( I won't mention anything at all about the 2ft lowering of your bike and it's effect on Peg Clearance though....... ) ..... I have been trying to add a few miles but It's still not that many compared to previous years, sometimes I wake up and can't think of anywhere to ride to...... then at the weekends it's all Motorhome trips, this afternoon we are off for a couple of nights again on Portland but on Sat, I get to dangle my tackle off the Bill...... which is where Keith Lewis was last weekend.

Are you going for the new ECU and re-map Snev ?
Worth it just for the extra power and over-run crackle

Can't decide really, went out on it earlier and it's still a bit Jerky when cold but seems to get better and sort itself after a few miles, I might just keep in standard for a while and see how it goes. The Grom should be in for some work soon, I've been waiting for a call but It seems to be taking months..... Off out for a couple of days now, have a great weekend Everyone.
