That's it really..............

Had a job to look at near Blandford Forum but the quickest route was across country through some quaint villages including Cerne Abbas and Piddletrenthide........ Fantastic back roads and stunning views all the way with the Good old Country smells like Wild Garlic and Dung ! Got to the house fine... lovely old Thatched cottage and a lovely Customer...... then on the way home it absolutely lashed it down, had to go through a ford which was about a foot higher than it was 2 hours before.... Had a couple of Wheel Slips, a few mini Rivers of mud and stones to get through all whilst the rain came down by the bucket load ........ anyway 45 minutes later I got home and stripped off and jumped in the shower to warm up. Thanks Met Office, your forecast and Rain Radar were only a tad wrong !

Dung is not really bad smelling unless there is too much of it in one place such as CFOs (confined feedlot operations) or when partially digested into a spray-able slurry.

Yes, it was Sprayed on all the fields either side of the road i was riding...... went on for miles.

I’m always amused when farmers get hacked off about something and accidentally spray slurry

We also get what smells like Rotten Fish Guts ....... especially in the big fields across the road from the Council and Police Offices...... I often wonder if it is deliberate, the smell is terrible !

Prefer the aroma of cow dung over pig dung any day !

I blame a lack of Members, over Active Minds, Beer, Freedom of speech long since vanished from Social Media, more Beer, erm, have I mentioned Oscar the Grouch yet ? ........
