I have 2 Union Flags(Jacks) i want to put on the number plates of the car. Looking at this Union Flag and mine i cannot tell which is the correct way up (i know there is a correct top and bottom) anyone know how to tell.

I offer my flags up to this flag, turn it both ways and it looks identical????????

This one is the right way up.

If you look at the left side of the flag (flagpole side) the wider white part is on top.

I enjoyed the time at the Supersausage when a man up a ladder was hanging union jacks on the front of the building. His face was a picture when Brig. pointed out they were mostly upside down. He had to start again
