Bikers' Banter

How is it (well it is with me) that when a bike or car is dirty i want to sell and get another, when it's clean and shiny it's a keeper

I hate cleaning Bikes and Cars and Vans and stuff.... Our two neighbours do it about 4 times a week two cars each ! Life's too short for all that and Mowing grass too .....

Evidently I don’t do a good job of cleaning my bike. I think it was all the crud holding the rear shock on

Do like the look of a clean bike/car/van at home but not much enthusiasm to actually do it .

Took all day to clean the MH but I'm buggered if I'm going to Polish it.

My F 800 GT gets cleaned at the 6000-mile services.

I love cleaning my bikes.
Music on, coffee, and all the cleaning gear laid out ready to go. I have a special set of brushes, to get into all their important little places and an assortment of polishes for every surface. I get real satisfaction from doing a good job.

When the car needs washing I take it to the Latvians along the road. How I missed them during lockdown!
